We create a variety of videos, so producing a trip promo is quite typical for us. We’ve previously crafted engaging videos for Marriott at Coachella and celebrated Super Bowl contest winners. This particular trip promo was for TripAdvisor, a platform that connects people with experiences worldwide. Our goal was to draw viewers into one of these unique adventures.

The shoot took place in Las Vegas, coinciding with our busy schedule during CES. Our travelers gathered at the Cabinet of Curiosities inside Horseshoe Las Vegas. They were warmly welcomed by celebrity bartender Daniel Ponsky, who offered a brief overview of the evening’s activities. Each guest received a welcome card featuring a QR code to explore the curiosities around the room, and a special gift from TripAdvisor. Attendees mingled, admired the curiosities, ordered drinks tailored to their moods, watched skilled bartenders craft unique beverages, and sampled the first round of hors d’oeuvres.

Guests were encouraged to team up in groups of 2-4 to approach the lockmaster with the password “Ollie” to access the vault room. They engaged in a puzzle-solving exercise, entering their answers to gain entry to the Lock space. The lockmaster guided them through the questions and provided helpful clues along the way.

Once inside The Lock room, guests enjoyed a second drink and were entertained by mentalist Kent, performing captivating tricks with each small group until all attendees had made it through. Meanwhile, a Contortionist added to the atmosphere by providing mesmerizing background entertainment. This was an unforgettable experience for the travelers and our skilled camera operator Joe Bigornia, who expertly captured the magic without intruding.

Once the trip promo footage was captured, it was handed over to Mauricio Tapia. He skillfully pieced it together, weaving in the supporting text and music. Once the elements aligned perfectly, he applied color correction and gave it the final polish.
