Farm Video Production

Farm Video Production

Here’s a peek into an engaging farm video project we conducted for Nichols Farms. We had the pleasure of collaborating with the Edde Brothers, who skillfully handled the project’s production and post-production responsibilities.

Our skillful use of various cameras transformed the video into an immersive experience. The types of cameras we employed ranged from our cutting-edge RED EPIC, Canon C100, Canon 5Dmk3, to a GoPro that captured some breathtaking aerial views. The unique challenge of this project was capturing the series of intricate processes that turn a humble pistachio into a delicious snack.

Major contributors from our Los Angeles Video Production unit include Ian McAleece, who wore the hat of a gaffer and a camera operator. Alan Agazarian was our crucial key grip, while Justin McAleece took up the task of director of photography. Joe Moffitt not only produced the video but also expertly directed much of the on-screen talent. Edde Brothers were entrusted with editing, color balancing, and capturing additional footage.

As a farm owner, you’re reliant on various factors for the success of your agricultural venture. One of those factors that can greatly contribute to your farm’s visibility and profitability is a well-crafted farm video. With high-quality farm video production, you can showcase the daily operations, the passion and hard work behind the organic process that brings farm-fresh produce. Not only does it enable you to visually document the journey from sowing seeds to harvest, but it also serves as an ideal tool to capture the essence of your farm and share your story with the world.

A great farm video can boost your farm’s branding and marketing efforts as well. In an era where content is king, videos offer a compelling medium to engage with your audience. It can be used across various digital platforms, including your farm’s website, social media channels, and even in email marketing. Diverse in their application, these videos can offer potential customers a sneak peek into where their food comes from, enticing them to choose your farm over large and impersonal suppliers.

Moreover, these videos play a pivotal role in educating viewers about sustainable farming practices. They are a means of visually narrating your commitment to the environment and local economy, which can profoundly impact a consumer’s decision to support your business. Therefore, investing in high-quality farm video production is not just about creating engaging content; it’s about bridging the gap between the producer and the consumer and building a community rooted in trust and transparency.

Once the team was assembled, the production process was next in line. Video production, especially in the context of farms and agriculture, is an intricate process that requires several key steps. We want to run through this process to give you an insight into what goes into creating a engaging farm video.
